I am a manager at an airline, currently on a business trip and dressed in my uniform—a suit with a knee-length skirt and heels. I have upgraded to business class, and seated next to me in the front row is a little kid accompanied by his mom down the aisle.
When we first boarded the plane, the mom and I engaged in some small talk. She shared that he was her first child and was already three and a half years old. Naturally, I reciprocated and told her about my own kids, engaging in that familiar “mom talk.”
**Part 2：Unexpected Encounter**
Since this was a long flight, I would take short naps, usually for around thirty minutes each, followed by periods of being fully awake. I was in the middle of one such nap when suddenly, I felt someone trying to undo the buttons on my blouse! I opened my eyes wide and saw the kid sitting right beside my lap. I immediately turned to look at his mom.
“Me:” “Can you get your son?”
“Mom:” “He’s just hungry. Do you mind if I cover him with this blanket and you pop one out for him?”
I was completely taken aback. “What are you talking about?”
“Mom:” “I just assumed you forgot your breast pumps at home and that it must be really painful for you. I know we women breastfeed our children until they’re four, and seeing your large chest, I thought this would be a kind gesture.”
I just stared at her in utter shock.
“Mom:” “Didn’t you say you had almost three-year-old triplets? Well, since we breastfeed that long, and you have such a prominent chest, I figured you’d appreciate it.”
**Part 3：Calling the Cabin Chief**
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I immediately called the cabin chief and told her about what had happened. She promptly took action and had them change seats, moving them to the very last row in the class, ensuring they were as far away from me as possible.
It truly was the craziest thing that had ever happened to me during my travels. I couldn’t help but wonder how such a misunderstanding could occur. But there I was, dealing with this rather uncomfortable situation.
**Part 4：End of the Flight**
Finally, the flight came to an end, and I was relieved to see them leave my vicinity. I couldn’t wait to get off the plane and put this whole ordeal behind me. It was a surreal experience that I would surely remember for a long time to come.
